"It is said that when you enter a desert alone, you no longer have a voice... because there is no one to hear you". -Yasin Dhe, Cleric
Terisbet
Ave, My name is Ohk'thel da Terisbet, I'm a Pech and just like my father, and the father of my father, my original destiny was to be a merchant for my whole life, and, as you may know, not a very common profesion for a Pech like me.

My city, Terisbet, is a beautiful structure at the folds of the mountains that prolongs from Dardeeh to the beginning of Khitai, known in Near World with the name of Yang. The city is mostly built inside of the mountain, one house over another, giving it a great feeling of urbanity, very uncommon in these Savage Lands. Not many outsiders know about this city, and most of the ones who do, are beings with much traveling experience.

::> Not much is known about terisbet, and there are diferent stories about it's origin, we hope to be able to take a closer look to this later.
Always, since I was small, I felt attracted by the desert beyond the mountains, when I saw those strange people all dressed in white and with gold skin and masks covering their faces,
I used to ask my father who those foreigners were, and he only kept telling me that they were coming from the cursed Hok'tush'ran, the black desert from beyond the mountains.
As I am sure you can figure out, a hunger for visiting those lands began to get bigger and bigger every single day. Later during my childhood, I tried to get hold of enough courage to talk to those mysterious men in white clothes; To my own surprise the one I talked to, accepted to tell me how to get to their home, but he also warned me about the danger of entering their cursed domains, "once you enter the Hok'tush'ran, you may never return to the world as ye know it, you will be able to return home, but it will surely look different, as it will be another time". I wish I listened to him, if I had, I would be with my wife and my children at this very moment… I'm in my beloved Terisbet, but no one knows my name.

When I was still young, all of my spare time I dedicated to research for information about the desert, I wrote it down, and actually thought most of them where just lies, especially those coming from the prophetic Mind Wizards.

When my third son was born, I decided to go to the black desert. I took all I needed from my business, took with me a Mind Wizard who said he somewhat needed to go with me and adventured myself to see if the legends where true I entered Hok'tush'ran.
There are two ways of entering the desert, one from the coast, in the other side of the mountains, it appears as a normal desert at the beginning but later the sand gradually turns black, and before you know it, in a day or two, you are lost inside the ashes of Hok'tush'ran, and without any protective magic to keep you from freezing, you will be dead in little time. The other way, which is surely safer, and it's the way I took, is to go to the tunnel which is three miles climbing up The Mountain where my Terisbet is located, it is easy to follow The White Ones [The Yideru] when they are leaving the city…
