Inn. The inn is called "The Shielding Hand" (the logo depicts a big hand protecting a wagon) and is a 3-story stone building with stone roof. The inn is run by the Tireas family from Bak, who founded Tireas Crossing 28 years ago. The original founder, Luthgar Tireas, has been dead for 6 years now and the inn is run by his 37-year old son Deven Tireas and the latter's wife Lasha Tireas. The inn is known for its quality and has become a regular stop for all kinds of caravans travelling the roads of Bak-Zirmandia and High Helm-Tireas Crossing. The four barmaids of the inn will also satisfy the other needs of the customers, for a price.
Stable. The stable is the biggest building in Tireas Crossing; despite having only 1 story, it occupies a fairly large area. The stable has room for 25 animals and it is run by the 42-year old stablemaster Galleus Tresk from Zirmandia and 4 stableboys.
Smithery. The 2-story stone smithery is run by two old friends - 33-year old Hurnan Yeoman and 31-year old Fastar Ilan. With their 5 apprentices and 7 children they work from dusk till dawn to produce enough horseshoes and other essential caravan items for the many hundred guests. The two friends are both from Bak and have studied under master dwarven blacksmith Hamdrun Azul.
Provisioner. A 3-story wooden building is dedicated to providing customers with everything from rope to rough cloth to leather pouches. The 50-year old shopkeeper Diernan Fulan is helped by his wife Trissa Fulan and his two adult children. The third story of the building is stock full of items and Diernan always sends his 29-year old son to fetch things, because he himself can't climb the stairs as fast as he used to.
Woodworker. This 2-story wooden building is inhabitated by the carpenter 35-year old Brandal Grehn and his family. Brandal crafts all the axe handles, rough wooden shields, wagon axles and other items the customers require. He is helped in his job by his two teenage sons.
Guardhouse. The 3-story wooden guardhouse has a 10-feet tall and 5-feet wide wooden tower on top of the roof. From there, one of the three guards (28-year old Gunther, 30-year old Hazlan and 22-year old Herin) will keep watch. All of the three guards are from a Bak military school, wear chain mail and carry a spear and a medium shield with the coat-of-arms of Bak. The living room is on the first floor, the sleeping rooms on the second floor and the storage of weapons and armor on the third floor.
Cartwright. The 42-year old cartwright Yltus Steelface lives in a 2-story wooden building with his family. He is constantly occupied with repairing the wagons of the caravans. He is also a good friend of Brandal Grehn, the carpenter.
